“Kitchen Magic: Remembering the Sacred Art of Nourishing”
We are excited for another exclusive members only meetup, hosted by our Visioning Council Member, Laura Parisi and our Executive Director, Elyshia Holliday. The main topic of conversation will be an experiential, interactive, and fun sharing of recipes and sacred kitchen rituals.
Let’s gather together to create an improvisational soup where everyone brings something from nature to our zoom kitchen cook-fire. We will imagine the simmering pot, the sizzle, scent, juiciness, creaminess, tanginess, color and environment in which the plants grew.
And with our intuitive sense of knowing, perhaps we can call forth other messages from Nature, such as what did the Earth intend for this vegetable, how did the tree’s energy create the food we are about to receive, and can we feel a sense of gathering kindness into a large serving bowl and spoon some onto every plate at the table?
Bring an openess and beginners mind and something from nature. No previous cooking experience required.
Meet-ups are a place for community discussion and connection. Members will receive a Zoom link for the meet-up via email and can also find the link in our dedicated member space on Mighty Networks. Not yet a Member? Join us!
